About

Indie-pop storyteller Giselle Kwong stitches warm, emotionally direct vocals into stripped-back guitar and pop hooks that stay with you long after her songs end.

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, the girl-next-door songstress has been featured across major platforms including Triple J, Aus Music Scene and Apple Music editorials.

Giselle's songs delve into the storytelling of heartbreak, self-worth, and the messy in-between of young adulthood, inspired by the confessional pop of Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Gracie Abrams. Delivered live from the Sydney Opera House to Oxford Art Factory and The Lansdowne, she has a decade of stage time and a busker's instinct for reading a room in real time.

With three independently released singles already past 50,000 streams, she continues to perform across Sydney's live music scene. She was also the founder of @SaveSydneyBusking, an advocacy movement for street performance culture that earned national media coverage. Her debut EP, produced by ARIA-topping producer Fletcher Matthews is set to be released in 2027.

"Her ability to be unflinchingly honest with her emotions and craft melodies that are resonant is something that I admired from the start."

"What sets Giselle apart is her creative discipline. Her output is extraordinary, not just in volume but in the consistent honesty and inventiveness of her writing. She arrives prepared, takes direction well, and never stops pushing her own ideas forward."
